Marathoners will be doing 8 or 9 Yassos
http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-244-255-624-0,00.html
Our Yasso rest will be a little shorter than noted in the article.
Everyone else will be doing a bunch of quarters - with short rest. Please figure out your realistic 5K race goal pace before you come to practice.
For example Jerry ran a 20:27 5K. His goal is to break 20. That pace is 6:26 per mile or 96 second per quarter - he should run this workout at 93-94 seconds per quarter. Just a few seconds faster that race pace.
We're meeting at Tinley Park High School Track - be warmed up and ready to run by 6:40.

Carrie
Who are all of these questions from...sign your name!!!
Carrie, if you are coming on Wednesday, then so am I.
We were there Monday, but the 'Sandburg Sensation' was not on the mound.
Hoosier Daddy
The Sandburg sensation was stil on the road at the start of the game...7 hour trip for him!
My plans may change if this series goes to the 5th game...he would pitch wed. if they do.
Sorry I missed you!
Happy Tuesday...beautiful running weather.
Carrie
Why don't people sign their names? Why do they always remain anonymous?
just like you... so NO ONE knows who you are!
Carrie: 7 hours to travel from Tinley Park to Gary, Indiana seems like an aweful long time. That's just a bit less than running an ultra-marathon, or driving to Milwaukee and back.
If there is a game 5, we can insure his presence. We are only 25 minutes from the ballpark, and know all the back roads.

No 5th game...too bad.
