Wednesday Practice - Miles

No one should miss this workout.
Including all the marathoners; Bruce, Ricky, Mike, Tim B, Jim R, Tim H, John, Francisco, Carlos, Tyler, Karen and Darcy. If done right it's worth about 4 minutes on October 12th.

It's the capstone workout for both marathoners and the middle distance runners.
We are doing a 1-1/2 time trial on the roads sandwiched by two miles on the track.
We need to start promptly at 6:40 at Tinley Park High School so be warmed up and ready to run.

Don't bring too much extra stuff to the track because we'll need to jog to the road after the 1st mile on the track.

Kirk finished in 10th place in a 5K in VA.

I have a nice supply of long sleeve TT&T shirts especially women's sizes and even a few small ones good for kids - bring your loose change. I also have a Medium jacket - I would love to get rid of for $15.

Fellow Skulls,
I'm disappointed to have missed practice tonight; I was looking forward to some final prep for Saturday's race. But my son broke his arm this morning, we received 2 proposals that have to go out next week, and I still have 8 reports that I have to check and send out tomorrow. If I survive tonight, I'll run early tomorrow and try to get some hill sets in.
Send fast positive thoughts out west Saturday morning; I'll be wearing one of my TT&T jerseys for the race and I don't want to embarass the club too bad.
Peace,
Steve A

Carrie, Please do not say you are fat. Pregnancy is a wonderful and beautiful thing. You really should be grateful that you are pregnant and enjoy every minute of this special time. EAT AND BE MERRY!

Sorry to hear about your son...........kids.
Best of Luck Steve in the National Xterra Half-Marathon Trail Race. I know you have the talent to do well, but I don't think I have ever seen you run that distance. It is a bit longer than a 10k. Best advice: Just keep going and going and going.

Hey Marine, that it sure alot of trash talking. Been looking on the atlas and can't find a naval base within 1000 clics of you.
Just keep your pistol loaded, and don't come home without the head of obama.....oops I meant Osama.

YIKES....Do not be mistaken, I am the happiest person in the world...I am loving being fat, feeling great and getting ready to be a mom...no worries, Carl and the no name person, life is good, I have absolutely accepted my fat pregnant body and thoroughly enjoy watching it change daily! Thank you for your advice...but send John some encouragement and support...not your FAT and fabulous teammate!!!
Happy running.
Hope those miles went awesome.
