Actually, we happened to be discussing the pub crawl on the run back Wednesday and the idea if a Nov 4th pub crawl came up instead due to a few of us having weddings on the 5th. Thoughts??

Sunday 7:30 am Indiana Dunes Wilson Shelter
Run the ridge with the Ridge Runners. Doesn't matter how fast you run, everyone is invited. Come out and enjoy the beautiful Fall colors of the State Park from the Ridge. The trail is approximately 7 miles. We'll start from the parking lot at Wilson Shelter and head down trail 10 to the "fence". Head up onto the Ridge and make our way around the blowouts. We'll come off the Ridge at the Beach House Blowout and finish the run dow...n trail 9 back to Wilson Shelter.
We will have some Ridge Runners running fast, some running a medium pace, and some running with the back of the pack. It worked well at the last event we put on. With 70 runners at the Post Christmas Run, we had runners of all abilities and everyone felt welcomed.
High School Runners, those of you done with your season at this date are also welcome to run with us. Don't be afraid of the Dunes.
Just like the Post Christmas Run, we'll have some good post-run desserts and water/maybe Gatorade. We would love runners to bring some other treats to make sure we have plenty. Baking is highly recommended.
The run is free and is not an "official event". The park does charge to get in. If you have never been there, just follow the signs all the way back to the Wilson Shelter. If parking spaces fill up, parking at the Nature Center will work.
I would be open to the 4th too seeing as I have been trying to touch base with many active members in order to organize the pub crawl and that has been the best overall date that works with everyone's racing and social schedules (except Kim, sorry Kim :-(
If anyone else has been working on assisting with the pub crawl and gathering peoples schedules, let me know so I can incorporate your data if the date needs to be changed. Thanks
The 4th is OK but Some TT&T'ers have Hot Chocolate the following morning. What about the 12th? The following weekend seems better and it's only one more week. Thoughts?

A lot of us are doing the Tinley Turkey Trot - although a pub crawl never stopped a real skull.
Rich
Tinley Turkey trot is same day as the Redeye. Bloody Mary could solve the problem.
